I have taken it to the dealer twice for this problem but they can't find anything wrong: this occurs in both stationary and motion. The contact was able to restart the vehicle. Last weekend it shut down again, when I boosted and tested it seemed fine at first then I saw a big puff of smoke and alternator started whining and overheating and suddenly no charge at all. I feared it was a bad fuel pump and the local dealer came up with the same diagnosis. Vehicle has started by its self and have found power doors open when I returned to my vehicle. The van is on it's way to the dealer. The keys were replaced; however, the failure recurred. It randomly won't turn over - sometimes taking 10-20 tries before it starts. The dealer says both blind spot sensors and the rear wire harness need to be replaced. Will sometimes crank, sometimes nothing happens when you turn the key.

A year is a little long to wait for parts. Also side passenger door buzzes when you lock or unlock the vehicle. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall remedy. My current main problem is the ongoing issue of hard starts and now problem has escalated to crank and crank no fire, have to attempt several times 20-30 , vehicle then will eventually fire rpm race to 3-4000rpms then stall, again several times of shutting off and attempting to start, eventually it starts sometimes taking 30 minutes to get it running. The manufacturer was not notified of the issue.

Recently late oct-current my wife went out to start it last week and it wouldn't start. I first came to notice that the vehicle failed to start once or twice. I'm a deployed service member and my wife and three children use this van. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing. How has this not been recalled or addressed? The contact made several attempts to have the vehicle repaired since august of 2014. Sometimes it will start after attempt 4 or 5 or sometimes a whole day. Took it to a shop and they said rhe fuel pump was still on while the car was off due to a relay in the power module so they said they will be able to just fix it but when trying to order the piece they said that was not possible due to its been a recall on the till which is the totally integrated power module but just not on my vehicle and it's not possible to change the relay because they have it attached to the power module and this is something that happen with the maufacuter so you will have to contact them so they can help you with it. I could fix it myself if I had the part.
Have to manually push down the lock button and to unlock , have to reach over and pull the door handle in order to unlock the door. I understand the durango has been recalled for the same issue. Consumer writes in regards to rear vent window switch recall parts. The manufacturer was notified of the issue. This is my only vehicle to transport my kids and myself everywhere we need to be. Needed to replace the actuator. At about 36120 miles the side mirror indicators came on and stayed on. These type of vehicle are equipped with integrated power module. The relay randomly failed multiple times while driving.
