Better to take apart things once instead of 2 times. I'm looking at replacing the rear speakers in my non-Bose zed with some decent replacements that you can actually hear. Just be careful when prying up the small filler panel at the base of the navigation screen. Remove the two Phillips screws holding the tweeter bracket in place and then remove the Phillips screw holding the tweeter to the bracket. It all comes down to how much money you are going to spend. Better: Even if you have the Bose upgrade, replacing the speakers will yield better sound. The good news is that you can upgrade your audio enjoyment.
